VH1's Pop Up Video interrupted music videos with facts and snark every 15 seconds or so. It quickly became a late 90s hit, with spin-offs, including a failed game show, an 80s version, and specials for The Brady Bunch and Oprah. However, the novelty seems to wear off, and it was cancelled until a short-lived 2011 revival. During that revival, several classic episodes of Jersey Shore got the Pop Up Video treatment.
